What is the difference between aluminum alloy forging and aluminum die casting?
Aluminum alloy forging includes A1-Si-Mg-Cu alloy and A1-Cu-Ni-Fe alloy. Commonly used wrought aluminum alloys include LD2.LD5.LDL0, etc. They contain various alloying elements
Author:
Aluminum alloy forging is mainly used for forging aluminum alloys. Die-cast aluminum alloys are cast aluminum alloys, but mainly die-cast aluminum alloys are used.
Aluminum alloy forging includes A1-Si-Mg-Cu alloy and A1-Cu-Ni-Fe alloy. Commonly used wrought aluminum alloys include LD2.LD5.LDL0, etc. They contain a variety of alloying elements, but in smaller amounts. They have good thermoplastic properties and therefore have good forging properties and good mechanical properties. This alloy is mainly used for bearing die forgings and some forgings with complex shapes.
Cast aluminum alloys are divided into four categories: A1-Si series, A1-Cu series, Al-Mg series and Al-Zn series. For cast aluminum alloys, in addition to the necessary mechanical properties and corrosion resistance, it should also have good casting properties. In cast aluminum alloys, A1-Si alloys are also known as silicon aluminum alloys, which have good casting properties and mechanical properties.
